Unwinding at the end of the day means a number of different things from simply laying down and listening to music to playing Roblox. However, not everyone wants to take out the frustrations of the day on other players online by slicing them with swords, shooting them with guns, or running them over with a car. Sometimes decompressing means just booting up Roblox and reliving your high school days or pretending to be a makeup artist. In Roblox, you can be anything you want to be and play however you want to play. Let’s take a look at some games in Roblox that doesn’t involve killing anyone but will help relieve your stress and bring you the hours of fun that only Roblox games can.
For those who don’t want to run around gunning each other’s block characters down, you have the option to work in a Salon and be the hairdresser of your dreams. You can be as stylish as you want as you work in a Salon like a Sims character and personalize other people’s characters. You don’t even have to be the hairdresser. You could be a nail artist, a makeup artist, or even a cashier. Unfortunately, after logging out of Roblox you have to go about your mundane day as anyone but a makeup artist, but at least you know you have somewhere to go when you do want to.
Roblox High School 2
Why shoot up other players when you can take up a part-time job as a food delivery driver, potion crafter, or servant of the void? What? Weren’t those the only jobs available to us as high school students? Roblox High School 2 allows us to do a high-school roleplay where you can pick up credits (get it?) up to 450 credits depending on the part-time job you take. You also earn credits through daily login rewards and participating in in-class activities. With the credits, you can buy a house, furniture for the house, vehicles, and gears such as a magic carpet or bicycle. These are all things we could have done in normal high school, right?
You don’t need to kill other players to have that rush of winning. You could always legitimately win races in Roblox’s Vehicle Simulator. A lot of the demographic who even plays Roblox isn’t even old enough to drive their own vehicle yet. Depending on the country, even young adults over the age of 18 can’t even rent their own car. You don’t even have to race in Vehicle Simulator, you can simply just drive around and blow off some steam (literally). Just be sure you don’t transfer any skills you learn in Roblox’s Vehicle Simulator into the real world. You might hurt somebody.
Bloxburg would be how your life would be if you got it together. Instead of sitting hunched over your computer playing Roblox, you could go out, make money, and build your own house. However, for those who don’t have the option to do that (like those who aren’t old enough yet), Bloxburg allows you to live out that fantasy. In Bloxburg you can work in one of the 12 available jobs from selling ice cream to working as a janitor. You eventually use the money to buy houses and decorations for the houses. Think of the Sims, except they’re all Roblox characters.
Theme Park Tycoon 2
Theme Park Tycoon in Roblox is exactly what you think it is. You can play alone or team up with your friends to create the theme park of your dreams and design your own roller coasters. You can choose from different scenery decorations to make a basic roller coaster or maybe even a Halloween-themed one since October is coming up quickly. If you’re not really focused on building death-defying rollercoasters, then you can always just make a park with different rides like teacups or Ferris wheels. You also have to make sure you’re keeping your guests well-fed and hydrated. This is basically Roller Coaster Tycoon miniaturized into a Roblox game.
Top Roblox Runway Model
You might be sitting there playing Roblox in sweatshirt and sweatpants, but that doesn’t mean you don’t know fashion. When you get into a game you could randomly become a judge whose sole job is to break people’s hearts and send them home. Those who were selected as the models will get sent to a fitting room where they only have a short time to pick their outfits. The judges will then vote on their outfits from a scale of 1-10 before the model is sidelined. It’s your chance to show off how much you really know fashion by playing dress-up with your blocky Lego-looking characters.
Much like Bloxburg, RoCitizens allows you to live the life of your dreams by picking up a job you probably couldn’t get in the real world, buy a house, a car, and make friends. In fact, let’s just all pretend we can’t have these things in the real world. Some are too young, and some are older adults spending their extra time playing Roblox. You basically work your way up to become a millionaire. It leans a little more on the roleplay aspect of the game compared to other “Sims” knockoffs in Roblox, but if your goal is to focus on your career to afford the good things in life, then RoCitizens is the mildly depressing existential crisis game for you.
Remember, you don’t need to decompress by murdering other virtual characters. Sometimes all you need is to work to own a virtual house or become Roblox’s next top model.
